POSTPARTUM INFORMATION

Congratulations!! Your newborn’s big day has finally arrived.

After approximately 40 weeks of physical and hormonal changes, you are now a proud parent. You finally have a bundle of joy to show off, instead of your round tummy!

You can expect the physical and hormonal changes to continue for some time, especially if you have chosen to and are able to breastfeed your baby.

Some of the most common postnatal symptoms, whether you have given birth through a vaginal delivery or caesarean section, include and are not limited to:

Breast discomfort
Discomfort in the perineal area
Emotions
Fatigue
Hair loss
Milk leaking from breasts
Pelvic Floor muscles
Vaginal discharge, bleeding postpartum
Weight loss
