BABIES DRINKING COWS MILK

Introducing cows milk to baby should occur at 12 months of age.

You may find that your toddler dislikes the taste of cows milk when first introduced. If this is the case, introduction to cows milk can take place gradually. You can try a gradual introduction of cows milk by diluting the milk first, either diluting cows milk in formula, or diluting some water into cows milk. Gradually increasing the amount of cows milk at each feeding.

Toddlers drinking cows milk, should be aiming to consume about 3 cups of cows milk each day (allowing for spillage). This cows milk can be included in foods such as cereals.
